I am pleased to send you the first MapleArt newsletter. In response to client requests, I will be updating my website more often, and sending out this newsletter approximately four times a year. I hope you will enjoy seeing my new projects and getting a peek inside the studio process, and may be inspired to share this newsletter with your friends and colleagues. If you know of anyone who would like to receive this newsletter, they can sign up for it here on my website. Of course, you may unsubscribe at any time, using a link at the bottom of each newsletter.
From September 27 to 30 I will be showing my work at the IDSWest Interior Design show. The show features over 300 exhibitors from around the world. See the Notes from the Studio section below for more information. I hope to see you there! The New Work page on my website shows why I have been so quiet: all this work was created in the last 12 months! I have had no time for anything else!

FEATURED WORK
The Adenium Credenza has been the highlight of my latest work. It features figured maple, figured walnut and blue slate in a unique configuration. I designed it for a board room and it will be on display at my fall exhibit in a few weeks. (To see more photographs of this item, click the photo.) RECENT WORK Below are some of my recent projects. To see more photographs of each item, just click the photo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NOTES FROM THE STUDIO
It is show time again and I am getting ready for my next exhibit at the
Interior Design show IDSWest 2012. It will take place at the
Vancouver Convention Centre from September 27 to September 30. Mark your calendars!
This year's exhibit will be a collaborative effort with White Rock Artist Nicoletta Baumeister (www.nicoletta.ca). Her paintings in acrylic and water colour range from high realism to cubist abstracts. As you will see in our display, her work complements mine superbly. (The quilt shown above left is one of my own creations, and is embedded in the Aconitum Quiltus coffee table. The paintings in this article are Nicoletta's.)
