I have harvested and processed a 180 year old Western Maple tree from Maple Ridge, which needed to be removed to make space for new construction. The tree featured a 1.9m diameter trunk and huge stump.
I plan to convert the massive root ball into furniture. Shown here are photographs of the processed wood in storage and an artist’s rendering of the design which I have in mind for a unique table. For more information on this project you can read the entire story.
